Our May 2011 newsletter went out today and a few of the highlights of the newsletter are just below.  You can download it in it's entirety here.

1. OAGIS Release 9.5 is now available

This release contains the Logistics content from the High Tech Council, the Procure to Pay work from the Metals Council, the Warranty Claim from the Partner Council, and enhancements to the Production Order to enable it to also serve as a Work Order.

In addition, we have revised all of the Scenarios and added many new ones to support the new functionality added.

We are very excited about this release of OAGIS and thank the OAGi Members and Staff for their hard work in getting it ready to ship.

You can download the release on our website:

2. Our Spring Plenary and Working Group Meetings were a big hit

Our Spring 2011 Plenary and Working Group meetings held on Wednesday and Thursday, April 20-21 on the NIST campus in Gaithersburg, Maryland were a big success.

This was our 10th Anniversary of hosting by the US National Institute of Standards and

Technology and we celebrated with a cake.

You can download the presentations from the meeting
here.

3. OAGi Staff give a talk at a Canonical model Conference

David Connelly and Ralph Hertlein of OAGi staff attended and spoke at the Canonical Model conference sponsored by one of our members, IgniteXML (

The title of the talk was to introduce people to the thought of starting with OAGIS when building an organizational Canonical Model.

New Version of Confirm BOD Document Released

We published a new version of our normative Confirm BOD Specification this morning.  It was the result of an  additional contribution from one of our members, ADP, and the work of the Quality Working Group and OAGi Staff.

We believe this will be a further improvement on our last version which we published in 2007.

This document is free to OAGi members on our members website
here (login required), and to all others for only US $19.95 on our Resources Webpage here.

If you are not already a member of OAGi, I invite you to read our Membership Value Statement and to join our community.

Thank you to all for this tremendous work.
