We had a good meeting this
week for our Working Group that is working to implement the UN/CEFACT Context
Specification (UCM) for OAGIS X.
The team has worked
through several use cases and developed several ways to implement the
Specification and we are now an OAGIS Implementation Guide for UCM.
Our general approach is to
use three context categories, Geography, Process, and Industry (Finance,
Chemical, High Tech, etc.) We will be taking
the approach of paring down the content and leaving behind what is needed for a
specific context.
The team is excited about
this moving forward and we will be meeting again on Tuesday, July 17 at 4 PM
Eastern Time to review the first draft of the document.
