The week in review, the week ahead June 20, 2011

Last week was a very successful week for our members and Working Groups.  We started the week with an announcement of our upcoming joint webinar with OASIS for an OAGIS BOD over AS4 interoperability demonstration coming on Wednesday, June 29.

On Tuesday, we had our ChemITC call with the Chemical Council and then our Context Working Group.

On Wednesday, we had our Procure to Pay Working Group making excellent progress and then Friday’s OAGIS X call was an excellent call where we spent a great deal of time discussing better ways to add extension mechanisms to OAGIS.

We covered at least 3 or 4 different new ways to extend.  We still have work to do on this.

Then we have our tools discussion where we are working on three different sets of tools.  The first is due July 1 and it is to be a script to help convert our existing libraries to the UN/CEFACT 3.0 formats.

The second is the new flattener, and the third is the context tool.

Our members are doing a great job and we have another big week coming up.
Stay tuned for more updates.
