We just published our March, 2010 Newsletter. The highlights include:

Our first Metals Industry Council face to face meeting took place in Chicago on February 24, 2010. They finalized their Charter and kicked off their first Working Group. They are addressing the Order to Cash and Procure to Pay business processes first.

Our Chemical Industry Council is collecting their requirements to ensure the OAGIS Release 10 Working Group addresses their requirements.

The High Tech Council continues to make great progress on their Logistics Working Group.

Continued growth of our website registrations. We are averaging 60 to 70 new registrations a month. We have registrations from 71 countries.

Metals Industry Council Finalized

We had a terrific meeting yesterday in Chicago and finalized our contract with the Metals Industry.

We signed the contract and we had detailed discussions on moving their work program forward. They seem very ready to make real progress in 2010.

This is our third Industry Council now, with High Tech, Chemical, and Metals, in addition to our Architecture Council and our Partner Council.

It seems the message of cross industry standards based on UN/CEFACT Core Components technology resonates.

OAGi Anti-Trust Policy

With the growth of our Industry Councils, it has become time to implement an OAGi Anti-Trust Policy.

I have been working with our Board and the heads of Councils to develop this policy, and today we rolled it out.

It is very straight forward thanks to some teamwork from one our of sister standards organization.

Outstanding December Face to Face Meeting

Many thanks to all who helped make our December face to face meeting a tremendous success! We had a record crowd and many amazing presentations.

It was great to see all of the energy in the room. We also had good turnouts for our two Working Group meetings the next day. Both the Logistics WG and the OAGIS Release 10 WG made good progress.

Exciting Meeting December 2 in San Francisco

Our agenda for Wednesday, December 2 in Redwood Shores, near San Francisco, is shaping up to be a terrific cross section of case studies, demonstrations, and updates on activities.

We have presentations from the three biggest application software companies in the world. This includes SAP, Oracle, and Infor. You can find our agenda here.

Presentations from OAGi Amsterdam Meeting Available

We had a tremendous meeting in Amsterdam on October 27. We welcome you to see the results here.

We did this meeting co-located with EDIFICE, one of our partner organizations for the High Tech Industry, although we also had attendees from retail, agriculture, automotive, and telecommunications.
