OAGIS 10 Release Candidate 2 now available for OAGi Member Review

I am very pleased to announce that OAGIS 10.0 Release Candidate Two is now available for Member Review!

AS WITH ALL OAGi RELEASE CANDIDATES, THIS RELEASE IS NOT TO BE TAKEN INTO PRODUCTION AS IT WILL CHANGE BEFORE THE GENERALLY AVAILABLE RELEASE IS COMPLETE.

This Public Review contains the Chemical Industry content from our Gap Analysis with the Chem eStandards. That was part of our agreement with CIDX when they merged with OAGi in 2009.

Public Review Two also contains the HR-XML harmonization work that Steffen Fohn of ADP has been working on as well as some manufacturing enhancements.

This Public Review will run for 30 calendar days and will conclude on March 21, 2013. From there we will review the feedback and we expect to release Public Review 3 in May, 2013.

Thank you in advance for participating in this Public Review. You can download the Public Review Release Candidate One here. We also provide links to the License and the feedback form on this page.

Please remember you must be logged as a member to participate. Please let us know if you have a problem.

Thank you for your support.

Two nice articles on an OAGi Policy Board Member

Recently two very nice articles were written on one of OAGi's Policy Board members, Infor.  The articles highlight the innovation they are achieving and also the use of OAGIS as an important technology they are using.

This first one is a report on their recent Innovation Summit and mentions OAGIS in their strategy.

This blog entry mentions Infor as a "Grown Up Startup" because of their innovation.  It also discusses their six broad areas of investment, include their ION product as a way to enable interoperability across their products.  It also mentions that ION uses OAGIS as the technology they use in ION.

I encourage you to read the articles and let me know what you think.
