Milestone in OAGIS Release 10 (OAGIS X) Development

One of our long time contributors, working with our team of member architects, constructed and executed conversion scripts to convert our existing OAGIS Release 9.5 XSD source base to the new conventions chosen for OAGIS X.

This gives the Working Group a solid base to begin making the actual changes to the standard that have been developed and agreed to over the past 18 months.

OAGi CEO Speaking at Remittance Advice Standards Workshop on June 28

The Federal Reserve Bank was trying to understand what standards are available and how they are used so they can try to increase the number of online transaction over paper use.

One big event that came out of the Workshop was a verbal agreement to re-start the Remittance Advice convergence project with IFX and the X-9 committee, which is the secretariat to ISO TC68, which leads the UNIFI (ISO20022) efforts.

Milestone in OAGIS Release 10 development

I am pleased to report that we had a major milestone in OAGIS release 10 (OAGIS X) development last week.

While there is much more to do, we are very excited about this important accomplishment.
Thank you to all of those working on OAGIS X.
